WE HAVE ATTENDED DR. BELARRA’S GAED WEBINAR

Today, I have been able to attend D. Belarra’s 3rd webinar, organized by GAED (Grupo Alicantino de Estudios Dentales), from LG Dental, my office in San Pedro del Pinatar. On this occasion, D. Belarra gave an online conference about mini-screws for orthodontics from a surgical point of view. This presentation was very interesting, as he explained that mini-screws for orthodontics can act as anchors, providing a stable support for the force applied by the dentist or the brace when straightening the teeth.

This is one of the many multidisciplinary courses given that takes advantage of new technologies and promotes the participation of professional dentist, both within and beyond Alicante. Some of the areas treated in these seminars include paediatric dentistry, implant dentistry, endodontics and orthodontics. At the end of this month, GAED courses will revolve around aesthetics, and in September, we will address implant dentistry, bone regeneration and teeth whitening.
GAED Webinar can be considered an interesting solution and opportunity for any dentist running their own business or studying this profession in Spain. Since January 2016, I have been following these presentations from home or my dental as many others – Daniel Escribano and Alejandro Pagán (Murcia) or Carlos Belarra (Madrid). This way, we don’t need to travel to another community or leave aside our patients, since GAED webinars are carried out at 9.30 pm. So, I can just connect to the Internet and broaden my knowledge.
